'Patricia's work speaks, first of all, from a crack. The Mallorcan artist explores that phrase not only on one side, but also on its boundaries and its interior for a reality that is, in any case, safe, stable or evident.
In her work, the painting functions as an access door to the contemplation of the characters' own gesture: these are the spaces through which there is nothing better than reality.
In this sense, we observe some beings devoid of fixed intention, without premeditated direction, but endowed with a strong intuition. The intuition of the gestures of these protagonists is marked by a deep response of the great categories of language and a search for the unstable. This voluntary activity is not allowed.
Through this runaway, the artist explores a reality deeply marked by a hidden existence that underlies every in little gesture, that is not seen and that, however, is not to be seen in everything. This sought-after confusion allows us to explore, also, the terrains of the unspeakable; Blur and detract through form and fragmentation.
The nature of Patricia's work strengthens deeply unstable, purposefully inconstant and with a clear desire to trace the invisible layers in a space inhabited by characters who are, at one time, spectators and agents of their own involuntary actions.' — Andrea Pérez
